Yogi is Back... NOT on Boomerang

So, yeah. this is a good news/bad news situation here.

The good news is that some respected classics are returning to TV, as Yogi Bear is back in the UK. However, he's not on Boomerang, he's on a different kids channel.

At the moment, Yogi Bear is currently airing on POP, A UK channel only available on Freesat and Sky, and has only two timeslots on weekends at 6:30am, and repeated at 10:30am. The channel also currently airs the Smurfs, since the release of the films, and a formally aired show on CN/Boomerang: The Amazing Adrenalini Brothers.

I have no clue as to what show they are airing, whether or not they include Snagglepuss and Yakky Doodle. Yakky seems to appear on the show page. http://www.popfun.co.uk/tv-guide/1136/Yogi-Bear
UPDATE: According to the episodes of the TV Guide, it is The New Yogi Bear Show (80s series).

So, it seems Boomerang isn't giving much thought for their classics at this time. Hopefully, there might be a weekday slot for Yogi, or some other shows coming back.

Boomerang UK July/August Update

A change to the schedule has been made this week. The major news is that Pink Panther & Pals and Casper's Scare Shool are removed from the schedule. an extra movie slot is given at 17:00, while the two classic Scooby Doo shows return in an hour slot at 13:00. On weekends, a marathon will air from 9:00 to 17:00.  no changes to the late-night schedule.

As summer begins, the schedule gets a big change. 

Mr Bean (The Live Action Series) returns to weekdays. It will air at 16:00 and 19:30, while the animated series airs at 8:30 and 13:30.

Several shows have been given different timeslots, whilst Boomerang Cinema airs at 9am.

The Pre-school lineup is gone, but this will be off-the-air until September (unless a change occurs).

The tubby cat finds his title at the annual talent competition under threat after he loses his ability to be funny. In an attempt to recapture his sense of humour, Garfield and Odie embark on a journey to find a frog who knows all about making people laugh.

Determined to prove his worth, Mumble heads off on a perilous journey to discover the truth about what has happened to the fish stocks.

Tom, Jerry and Scooby Half-Term

For one week only, from 8:00 to 19:00, Boomerang will air a non-stop mix of Tom and Jerry chases and Scooby Doo cases. There will be a double bill with a Scooby film at 9:00, followed by a Tom and Jerry film at 10:30 (times will vary on length of film). The half-term special will air from Saturday 25th May to Saturday 2nd June. Another Scooby film will air at 17:00. The schedule will be run at followed (includes shows before and after the event):
