Boomerang UK January 2013 WEEKDAYS
Very small changes again. The Land Before Time returns once again, back in its slot at 9:00 and another showing at 14:00, thus removing Pound Puppies from the station. Pink Panther and Pals now has only one slot at 19:00 (i'm guessing this show is starting to fade away). There are some timeslots swapped between Classic Tom & Jerry and Tom & Jerry Tales. Casper's Scare School gets only one slot at 16:30.
No big news as always. As for whether Wednesdays will remain showing a film or not, I'll put that in a separate schedule post.
UPDATE: There appears to be no Boomerang Cinema scheduled on Wednesdays now, so that'll be the same as the rest of the week.

Tom & Jerry (episode showings may vary):
The Night Before Christmas
Jerry explores the house during Christmas Eve night, discovering delectable Candy Canes and squeaky toys, until he wakes up Tom by accident. They chase around the house until Jerry jumps out of the mailbox slot, and Tom jams it so Jerry can't get out. But Tom starts to get a guilty conscience as Jerry braves the freezing cold.
Mice Follies
Jerry and Tuffy/Nibbles flood the kitchen with water, and adjust the freezer to make everything freeze, to form their own ice rink. As they enjoy their fun of ice-dancing, Tom finds out and tries to stop them, unaware of the slippery conditions of the frozen floor. Luckily, he finds a pair of Ice-Skates, and gets his own back at the mice.
Snowbody Loves Me
A freezing Jerry Mouse seeks shelter at a house, filled with a feast of cheeses. But when he invites himself him, he locks Tom out, and the cat tries to get back in and go after Jerry.
The Tom-inable Snowman
After making another escape from being eaten, Jerry finds protection from a Swiss helper dog. Tom makes a distraction for the dog to go after, so he can go after Jerry. The chase later ends him being injured and treated by the Dog, who supplies him a barrel of alcohol, which Tom consumes and become drunk.
Tom & Jerry Tales: Ho Ho Horrors/Doggone Hill Hog/ Northern Light Fish Fight
When Mrs. Two-Shoes goes to bed on Christmas Eve, Tom lies in his basket and dreams of chasing after Jerry and eating him. Jerry, not liking this, enters the dream and turns it into a nightmare. Tom and Jerry are chasing one another in the snow.
Spike is sledding down a nearby hill, and crashes into them. He does this repeatedly, thinking it funny. He bullies the two relentlessly as he guffaws at their pain. Tom and Jerry soon get Spike back, but all three wind up with broken arms and legs. To show them no hard feelings, Spike gives the boys a Christmas present: a sled.
In the Arctic wastes, Tom is a fisherman with nothing to show for it but a bunch of holes in the ice and a very cold worm. When Jerry has beginner's luck and catches a fat fish, Tom tries to steal it. After an extended battle, complete with orchestral accompaniment, Jerry agrees to share his fish with the starving cat—but a polar bear gets to it first. Disgusted, the boys eat their forks.
Looney Tunes (episode showings may vary)
Bugs Bunny's Christmas Carol
In a short Adaptation to Charles Dickens, a cold Bob Cratchit (played by Porky Pig) is working non-stop for careless, grouchy Scrooge (Yosemite Sam). Bugs tries to help Bob by "borrowing" a lump of coal from Scrooge's office and giving it to Bob to keep him warm. But when Scrooge's cat, Sylvester discovers Bob warming up, he warns his master and Bob gets fired. After giving Bugs some welcomed hospitality by Porky, he's introduced by the family, including Tiny Tim (played by Tweety Pie), Bob suddenly gets a foreclosure notice from Scrooge, and Bugs decides to take drastic action: by making Scrooge get into the holiday and persuade him from throwing Bob Cracthit into the streets.

Bugs, discovering its an imposter, tries to tame Taz and and eventually returns Santa's sleigh back to the North Pole.
As while its not in any way festive, they'll be showing:
Scooby Doo: Mystery Incorporated: Wrath of the Krampus
Saturday 22nd - 10:00 and 17:30
Sunday 23rd - 12:00 and 17:00
Monday 24th (Christmas Eve) - 16:00
Tuesday 25th (Christmas Day) - 18:30
Wednesday 26th (Boxing Day) - 10:00
What annoys me is that they keep airing that Tiny Toons special for years, and the show itself didn't come till 2006. Then the show got cancelled after one season. this will also be probably the first year Boomerang isn't airing the Hanna-Barbera specials, like Yogi Bear and The Flintstones Christmas films, or any other miscellaneous classics, like "The Town that Santa Forgot" and the Rankin Bass selection.
UPDATE: As for Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporared, this episode is what i'm guessing the current episode in the recent series (despite two more episodes yet to be aired). This isn't the first time that's happened. CN once aired the Season 1 finale of Sheep in the Big City as part of a "Cartoon Cartoon" Christmas block, which may have been a mistake and were meant to air the Clearance Day episode. (That was sort of a Festive spoof they made)

Boomerang gets new Wintery Look for 2012
As December started, and Christmas approaches, Boomerang has been given a festive makeover. Since Dec 1st, The channel shows a series of new bumpers, promos and continuity set in a snowy atmosphere, with its characters playing about and getting into mischief, while The swirling logo has a glittery snowy touch up.
This is the first time Boomerang has had an official look for the holidays. in the past, you just had an occasional themed ident. The new look has been launched throughout Europe, with several various alternatives (like ad break cues or special events).
Some examples can be found here. http://boomerangeurope.blogspot.co.uk/2012/12/boomerang-got-winterholiday-look.html

My Little Pony cancelled on Boomerang
Those who haven't noticed the change, the show page for My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic has currently changed. The page still has its background image, but there is a section that reads "You are not authorized to access this page." The show has also been removed from the carousel from the top of the website.
The show, however, does come up on the list on the TV Guide page. so, you can still view the TV Guide page for My Little Pony here http://www.boomerangtv.co.uk/shows/my-little-pony/tv-guide
Note: There is an error, which gives the show description for Dexter's Laboratory.
It is said that the show will not return to the network (i also checked it has been removed from Virgin Media's on-demand list), due to Turner no longer owns the rights to the show. So fans will be disappointed to hear that the rest of Season 2 and the 3rd Series may not be coming to the UK. The show's run was only at a 15:00 slot, which is a really bad after-school time for any one watching it. I didn't catch this show as it premiered just after i stopped getting the channel. Meanwhile, the show has recently aired on Boomerang over in Australia and Italy.

Boomerang UK December 2012 Weekdays
No huge difference this month.
New episodes of The Garfield Show will air on the 7:00 and 18:30 slot.
Pound Puppies (the 2010 series), makes it's return on Boomerang. It will air on weekdays at 9:00, and on weekends at 6:30. This means The Land Before Time will be gone (again). Also, Casper's Scare School gets another weekday slot at 12:30, reducing The Garfield Show at 12:00 to have one-half hour.
I don't think the preschool morning may have any relation to Cartoonito, as Pound Puppies was aired only on this network. If they are airing this 3-hour long as an alternative viewing for younger viewers, why won't they air A Pup Named Scooby Doo or Tom & Jerry Kids? they're based on Boomerang's popular characters AND are younger versions anyway. Even Baby Looney Tunes could pass this.
